Illustration created for an competition celebrating the traditional black pottery of Bisalhães, Portugal. The challenge was to reinterpret the distinctive shape of the Bilha de Rosca, one of the region's most iconic ceramic pieces.
Inspired by the traditional firing process, "Made of Smoke" explores the relationship between fire, smoke and clay. Flowing shapes and vibrant colours transform the vessel's silhouette into a visual narrative about the origins of black pottery.
Ilustração criada para um concurso dedicado à loiça preta de Bisalhães, em Portugal. O desafio consistia em reinterpretar a forma característica da Bilha de Rosca, uma das peças mais emblemáticas desta tradição oleira.
Inspirada no processo tradicional de cozedura, "Feito de Fumo" explora a relação entre o fogo, o fumo e o barro. As formas orgânicas e as cores vibrantes transformam a silhueta da peça numa narrativa visual sobre as origens da loiça preta.
